Wailuku Coffee Company’s fashionably decorated flagship shop manifests the company slogan, “where the hip come to sip.” Their original location sits in Wailuku Town’s heart on Market Street, and a new location has recently opened in the Aloha Aina Center in Haiku.

The Food

Wailuku Coffee Company offers some of the most consistent coffee and food on the island, with zero discrepancies between the two locations. Their bacon, avo, and tomato bagel is frequently seen in front of customers around breakfast time, and the clubhouse sandwich is a lunchtime favorite. You will also find an assortment of pastries and treats at both locations.

As Maui coffee lovers may know, it can be hard to find espresso drinks beyond lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos on the island. However, you can find great flat whites and affogatos at Wailuku Coffee. Wailuku Coffee also has a handful of non-dairy milk and unique flavorings like lavender, peppermint, and macadamia nut on deck. They also sell coffee by the bag, mugs, and other accessories.

Owned and operated by two local wahines, Wailuku Coffee Company is deeply rooted in the Maui community. To give back to their community, Wailuku Coffee hosts monthly art shows featuring local artists. 15% of the art sales are donated to local non-profits.
