Cafe & Boutique in Waimea, Big Island
Surf Camp, previously Arvos, is a wonderful cafe and boutique to experience in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii. We stopped in for coffee and a cafe lunch and were surprised by the beautiful boutique as well. The menu is thoughtful, healthy, and delicious. Choice coffees, quality sandwiches, and delicious salads are offered with your choice of substitutions for your preference. This stylish coffee house is an obvious favorite with locals as well.
The smoked salmon salad was the perfect lunch. My son enjoyed a yummy, crunchy grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough which was quickly devoured. The avocado toast was a winner on the locally made bread, and the prosciutto sandwich with sautéed mushrooms, parmesan, arugula, and garlic aioli was a dream come true for my husband.
We found a lot of wonderful treasures in the boutique. Not only do they have carefully chosen books, clothes, jewelry, swimsuits and high quality camping gear, but many other rare items that you know they spent countless hours curating.
Surf Camp was a cool place to grab Hawaii coffee, eat a yummy lunch, chat with friends, and shop for stylish goods. We’ll be back. They also have a couple of other stores on Oahu we look forward to visiting.
