Early each morning, Midnight Bear Breads’ pastry case fills up with unique bites like lilikoi cream cheese danishes, macadamia nut cinnamon rolls, and lavender lemon morning buns. You’ll also find fresh loaves of ciabatta, focaccia, and sourdough. All breads are made with 100 percent organic, non-GMO flour, European-style butter, and lots of care (ask about their ten-plus-year-old sourdough starter). No need for a whole loaf? Sample Midnight Bear Breads’ avocado on sourdough toast or a breakfast sandwich.
As for the coffee… Midnight Bear Breads’ baristas know their way around an espresso machine. A latte or cappuccino pairs perfectly with one of Midnight Bear Breads’ baked-to-perfection croissants. But the fan favorites are Midnight Bear Breads’ slow-drip cold brew (you can’t miss the cold brew tower at the counter) and the Kauai pour-over. Beans are sourced from Outpost Coffee, a local seed-to-cup coffee supplier.
Located smack dab in the heart of historic Hanapepe Town, Midnight Bear Breads’ ambiance is the perfect mix of chic and old school.
