Eden Coffee – Koloa, Kauaʻi
Eden Coffee may be a small coffee trailer – but its delicious brews are dominating Kauai’s south-side coffee scene.
Most days, Eden Coffee is parked in the heart of Old Koloa Town, near Kauai Island Brewing Company off Weliweli Road (although sometimes Eden moves its caboose down to Poipu). This family-owned coffee trailer throws its doors open at 6:30 a.m. every morning (except for Sundays) and whips up luscious lattes into the late afternoon.
Eden’s coffee is something spectacular. Expertly crafted espresso? Check. Beautiful latte art? Check. Locally roasted beans? Check. Eden sources its coffee beans from Kauai Roastery, a small-batch roastery specializing in 100 percent Hawaii-grown coffee from sustainable farms. Aside from coffee, Eden also serves smoothies, shakes, iced tea, and muffins.
While the cafe’s menu includes go-to’s like lattes and cappuccinos, Eden’s specialty coffees keep visitors coming back for more. Two favorites include the Hawaiian Dream with chocolate and macadamia nut and the Island Bliss with chocolate and coconut. The smiling baristas are happy to customize your drink to your liking – whether you prefer non-dairy milk or a blended iced drink, just say the word.
And speaking of customer service… the Eden Coffee crew knows how to dish out aloha. All the regulars seem to be on a first-name basis with the baristas, which is always a good sign.
Eden Coffee is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The truck is usually parked at 3477 Weliweli Road, Koloa, but that is subject to change. For the most up-to-date information, check out Eden’s Instagram, @edencoffeekauai.
