Piko Cafe, one of Maui’s best-kept secrets, is conspicuously located in the heart of Kihei in the corner of Azeka Shopping Center next to Longs. This small, simple cafe serves one of the best local-style breakfasts on the island. Piko Cafe’s breakfast is so good, in fact, that it has been handed multiple prestigious awards, including the award for “Best Local Cafe” by Lux Life Food and Drink Awards in 2018. Piko Cafe has been made famous by their loco moco, but their breakfast menu features a handful of local style favorites, like fried rice with egg and char siu, and ube (purple sweet potato) pancakes.
